Album Notes & Community Reviews

Drawn from the incredibly fruitful American Sound Studio sessions guided by Chips Moman, this release functions as a direct continuation of his massive critical and commercial comeback. The recordings highlight a remarkably mature, soul-inflected vocal approach set against the tight, country-soul backing of the legendary Memphis Boys. It definitively reaffirmed his relevance amidst a rapidly shifting rock landscape.
