Album Notes & Community Reviews

Often referred to as 'The Fool Album' due to its hit cover track, this release largely consists of leftover material and piano-driven ballads cobbled together by RCA to capitalize on the massive success of the 'Aloha from Hawaii' broadcast. Featuring lush strings and heavy gospel backing vocals, the arrangements lean deeply into the grandiose, adult contemporary pop that defined the King's later career. Despite its piecemeal origins, Presley's vocal performances remain undeniably potent and emotionally resonant.
