Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during a fiercely productive marathon session in Nashville, the King of Rock and Roll delivered an incredibly passionate, revitalized foray into traditional country and soul. Unified by fragments of the song 'I Was Born About Ten Thousand Years Ago' woven between tracks, the album functions as a cohesive, deeply rootsy concept record. It captures a mature artist reconnecting brilliantly with the fundamental building blocks of his musical heritage.
