Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in the Jungle Room of his Graceland estate, this late-period release finds the cultural icon interpreting a selection of somber country and pop ballads. The dense, emotionally heavy vocal performances are saturated with themes of heartbreak and longing, mirroring the singer's personal isolation during this era.
