Album Notes & Community Reviews

Drawn largely from the legendary December 1973 sessions at Stax Studios in Memphis, this album captures Elvis infusing his slick country-pop with a heavy dose of blue-eyed soul. Despite his deteriorating health, Presley's vocal performances remain powerful and deeply expressive on tracks like 'My Boy' and 'I've Got a Thing About You Baby'.
