Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiled primarily from leftovers of the legendary marathon recording sessions held in Nashville during June 1970, 'Love Letters From Elvis' presents a deeply romantic, orchestrated pop focus[cite: 1]. While lacking the urgent country-soul fire of his concurrent masterpiece 'Elvis In Memphis', the album highlights his formidable interpretive balladry and smooth vocal control[cite: 1]. It serves as a commercially successful, if somewhat patchwork, entry in his prolific 1970s catalog[cite: 1].
