Album Notes & Community Reviews

Housed in iconic, biomechanical artwork designed by H.R. Giger, Emerson, Lake & Palmer reached their absolute creative and commercial zenith. 'Brain Salad Surgery' is a wonderfully manic, incredibly epic symphonic prog spectacle, matching fiercely technical, classically inspired synthesizer heroics with highly complex, wonderfully playful science-fiction fantasy suites like 'Karn Evil 9'.
