Album Notes & Community Reviews
A remarkably audacious live rock adaptation of Modest Mussorgsky's classical piano suite, recorded at Newcastle City Hall. Keith Emerson's pioneering, aggressive manipulation of the Moog synthesizer alongside Carl Palmer's thunderous percussion firmly established the bombastic, boundary-pushing nature of 1970s progressive rock.
