Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a companion piece to its grander, orchestral predecessor, this collection features shorter, more accessible tracks left over from previous sessions alongside new solo endeavors. It highlights a remarkably wide array of stylistic pastiches, ranging from Scott Joplin-inspired ragtime piano pieces to straightforward big-band jazz-inflected instrumentals. The disjointed nature of the release reflected the growing creative fragmentation within the iconic supergroup.
