Album Notes & Community Reviews

A sequel to his acclaimed 2000 masterpiece, 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' finds Eminem revisiting his past with technical ferocity and a mix of nostalgia and aggression. The album features rapid-fire flows, rock-rap production from Rick Rubin, and introspection on his legacy and controversies. While technically impressive, it polarized listeners with its pop sensibilities and dense, sometimes exhausting, lyricism.
