Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded with the members of Jaye Jayle, 'On Dark Horses' expands Emma Ruth Rundle's sound into lush, atmospheric post-rock territory. The album retains her folk-rooted songwriting and melancholic lyricism but envelops them in layers of heavy guitar, dynamic percussion, and ethereal textures. It balances moments of soaring, shoegaze-influenced grandeur with the intimate intensity characteristic of her work.
