Album Notes & Community Reviews

The globally successful debut album from the Australian duo, comprised of Luke Steele (The Sleepy Jackson) and Nick Littlemore (Pnau). Recorded in collaboration with producer Peter Mayes, the album fused epic synth-pop with psychedelic visuals and a distinctive glam-rock aesthetic. Driven by its titular lead single and follow-ups like 'We Are the People', the record achieved multi-platinum status in several countries and became a defining soundtrack of the late-2000s indietronica boom.
