Album Notes & Community Reviews

Michael Cretu's highly successful New Age project returns with a noticeably darker, more robustly percussive fourth album. 'The Screen Behind the Mirror' famously interpolates heavy samples from Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana' alongside the project's signature Gregorian chants, shakuhachi flutes, and sensual pop rhythms. The album achieved massive global sales, reaffirming Cretu's dominance in atmospheric electronic pop.
