Album Notes & Community Reviews

For the second Dollars film Morricone built his score around the chiming pocket watches carried by Colonel Mortimer and the Man with No Name, their shared melody tightening into a duelling motif as the plot closes in. Alessandro Alessandroni's whistling again leads a small ensemble of guitar, choir and percussion rather than a full orchestra.
