Album Notes & Community Reviews

Morricone composed this score before filming began, and Sergio Leone played the recordings on set so the camera and actors could move to the music. Across thirteen tracks, Edda Dell'Orso's wordless soprano carries the main theme while Franco De Gemini's harmonica voices the Man with a Harmonica, each principal granted a motif of his own.
