Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by John Schmersal following the dissolution of Brainiac, the group's debut effort is a jagged, wildly unpredictable collision of noise and hooks. 'Believo!' utilizes erratic synthesizers, lo-fi sampling, and angular guitar lines to construct highly surreal pop frameworks. The album's frenetic energy and unconventional structure made it a standout artifact of the Brooklyn indie-rock explosion.
