Album Notes & Community Reviews

Italian trumpeter Enrico Rava led a superb quartet featuring Roswell Rudd for this deeply lyrical and spacious ECM recording. '禄Ah芦' masterfully balances the melancholic grace of modern European post-bop with bursts of fiery, avant-garde collective improvisation. It highlights Rava's signature golden tone and remains a standout in his extensive discography.
