Volver

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pairing the Italian trumpet maestro with the revered Argentine bandoneon player, this recording crafts a deeply atmospheric, cross-continental dialogue. 'Volver' beautifully fuses the austere, spatial aesthetic of European jazz with the melancholic, romantic undertones of nuevo tango. The resulting session is widely celebrated for its profound emotional resonance and seamless improvisational synergy.
