Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Oslo with producer Manfred Eicher, this album beautifully showcases the Italian trumpeter's lyrical and highly emotive improvisational style. The quartet, featuring trombonist Roswell Rudd, delivers a masterclass in spacious, avant-garde-leaning post-bop that perfectly aligns with the signature ECM aesthetic.
