Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marcel P茅r猫s directs the ensemble in the Tournai Mass, the earliest surviving complete polyphonic setting of the Mass, compiled in the fourteenth century. Singers including Josep Cabr茅 and Josep Benet take the chant in a plain medieval manner, a noted contrast with P茅r猫s's later Machaut recording.
