Album Notes & Community Reviews

The fifth full-length from the Finnish folk-metal titans leans heavily into sweeping cinematic orchestration, somewhat dialing back the breakneck melodic death metal of their past. The album remarkably features a sprawling, sixteen-minute closing epic that incorporates extensive choral arrangements and traditional Scandinavian acoustic instrumentation. It remains one of their most polished, highly ambitious, and distinctly power-metal oriented releases.
