Album Notes & Community Reviews

Often unfairly pigeonholed within the superficial hair metal movement, the Chicago-based quartet's sophomore album reveals a profound mastery of Beatles-esque power pop melodies wrapped in hard rock distortion. 'Strength' addresses darker, more sentimental lyrical themes than their debut, standing as a critically respected, bittersweet gem of early 90s melodic rock.
