Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Atheist's Cornea', Envy blends their aggressive screamo roots with grand, ethereal post-rock, creating a sound that is both heavy and experimental. The album features pained, urgent vocals alongside complex guitar progressions and moments of quiet beauty, demonstrating the band's ability to mix opposites like quiet and loud, pain and happiness. Tracks such as "Blue Moonlight" deliver a ripping slab of screamo with grandeur, while others like "Shining Finger" showcase potent, instrumental post-rock.
