Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking the band's first album in five years and featuring a refreshed lineup, 'The Fallen Crimson' is a dynamic and progressive work that blends cataclysmic heaviness with seductive beauty. The album explores a broad spectrum of sounds, from thunderous post-hardcore and thrash to complex post-rock arrangements, showcasing Envy's signature mix of melodicism and aggression. Vocalist Tetsuya Fukagawa's delivery continues to shift between full-throated screams and understated spoken word, contributing to the album's urgent, expressive, and touching emotional core.
