Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sophomore album from the German sextet is a masterpiece of bombastic, cinematic folk metal. The band flawlessly integrates authentic folk instrumentation鈥攍ike pan flutes and fiddles鈥攊nto incredibly fast, symphonic black metal structures, creating massive, triumphant pagan anthems sung entirely in German. It remains a beloved, defining classic of the late-2000s folk metal boom.
