Album Notes & Community Reviews

This record served as a major commercial breakthrough for the synth-pop duo, solidifying their dominant presence on international dance floors. Vince Clarke's sparkling synthesizer arrangements perfectly complement Andy Bell's theatrical and emotive vocal deliveries. It yielded several enduring club anthems and established a lasting template for deeply melodic electronic pop.
