After years in the Toronto experimental scene, Eric Chenaux's solo debut for Constellation introduces his singular blend of balladry and warped jazz guitar. 'Dull Lights' utilizes semi-improvised structures and fried-circuit electronics alongside nylon-string guitar and formal songwriting. The result is a collection of fragile, beautiful pieces that challenge traditional notions of folk music through unexpected tonal shifts and technical dexterity.
