Album Notes & Community Reviews
An early solo effort that laid the groundwork for Eric Chenaux's later, more refined works. 'Sloppy Ground' is a raw and experimental take on folk and pop forms, where recognizable song structures are often obscured by layers of dissonant guitar, tape hiss, and lo-fi textures. The album showcases the development of his unique artistic voice, highlighting his interest in the collision between conventional beauty and sonic abstraction.
