Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating extensively with Phil Collins on production, the iconic guitarist fully immersed himself in the slick, horn-driven pop aesthetics of the decade. Highlighted by the hit duet with Tina Turner, 'Tearing Us Apart', the album successfully repositioned Clapton's blues-rock roots within an accessible, adult contemporary radio format.
