Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Portuguese-born, Danish-raised singer-songwriter delivers an immaculately smooth homage to 1990s R&B and G-funk. The production is incredibly mellow and sensual, utilizing crisp drum loops and delicate synthesizers that perfectly frame her whispered, understated vocal performances. Originally self-released, it became a massive word-of-mouth hit, leading to her eventual signing with 4AD.
