Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their final studio album before entering a lengthy hiatus, the Philadelphia sextet perfects their darkly elegant, Renaissance-fair interpretation of psychedelic folk. The record heavily features gorgeous, intertwining acoustic guitars, cellos, and Meg Baird's incredibly haunting, crystalline vocal delivery. It serves as a beautiful, meticulously arranged swan song from one of the most vital acts of the 2000s freak-folk revival.
