Album Notes & Community Reviews
Fronted by saxophonist Lora Logic after her departure from X-Ray Spex, this sole full-length LP from the band is a frantic exploration of free-form post-punk. The compositions disregard standard song structures, favoring skronking brass outbursts, wildly shifting tempos, and stream-of-consciousness vocals. The album acts as a vital, highly eccentric building block of the burgeoning British avant-punk scene.
