Album Notes & Community Reviews
Masterminded by German jazz pianist Wolfgang Dauner, this highly experimental collective expanded for their second album, notably enlisting American guitarist Larry Coryell and British drummer Jon Hiseman. The resulting session is a frantic, heavily psychedelic collision of avant-garde jazz improvisation and heavy krautrock electronics, featuring extensive use of the EMS Synthi 100. It is a wildly complex, transatlantic highlight of the 1970s fusion underground.
