Establishing himself as a defining icon of 1980s French pop, 脡tienne Daho crafted a sophisticated and deeply romantic synth-pop breakthrough[cite: 1]. 'La notte, la notte...' pairs polished electronic arrangements with his distinctive, deadpan vocal delivery, yielding massive commercial hits in Europe.
