Album Notes & Community Reviews

A pioneering force within the 'Rock in Opposition' movement, France's Etron Fou Leloublan unleashed a wildly unhinged, fiercely independent debut. 'Batelages' is an incredibly quirky, highly manic collision of complex avant-prog and raw punk energy, featuring deeply humorous, wonderfully eclectic free improvisation recorded with brilliantly gritty lo-fi immediacy.
