Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a distinct pivot away from their cold, synthesizer-dominated new wave origins, the British duo embraced a surprisingly robust, guitar-driven pop-rock sound. The album's warm, organic instrumentation perfectly supports Annie Lennox's increasingly powerful, soulful vocal delivery, securing them a massive arena-rock following.
