Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as the inaugural release on the independent Incus label, this completely unhinged collaboration is a towering monument of European free improvisation. The telepathic, aggressively atonal dialogue between Parker's shrieking saxophone, Bailey's fractured guitar, and Bennink's chaotic percussion demolished all remaining jazz conventions.
