Album Notes & Community Reviews

The ambitious debut from Tom S. Englund's Swedish outfit introduced a remarkably dark and emotionally weighty variation of progressive metal. Moving away from the upbeat fantasy tropes of their power metal peers, the album utilizes heavy, chugging riffs and sombre choral arrangements to support themes of alienation and despair.
