Album Notes & Community Reviews
On their second album, 'Arc', the Manchester art-pop outfit refined the maximalist tendencies of their debut into a more focused and emotionally direct collection of songs. While retaining their signature rhythmic complexity and Jonathan Higgs's soaring falsetto, the record incorporates more accessible pop structures and anthemic choruses. The album explores themes of technology, depression, and human connection with characteristic intelligence and creativity.
