Album Notes & Community Reviews

The band's fifth studio album, 'RE-ANIMATOR', was largely inspired by frontman Jonathan Higgs's fascination with psychologist Julian Jaynes's theory of the bicameral mind. The record delves into themes of consciousness, trauma, and the search for connection in a fractured world. Musically, it finds the band embracing a more direct, synth-forward sound while still maintaining their characteristic rhythmic invention and intricate arrangements.
