Enregistreur

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second effort from the Montreal trio Exhaust expands on their use of found sound and looped magnetic tape. 'Enregistreur' creates a gritty, industrial atmosphere where rhythmic repetition meets fractured melodic elements. The album emphasizes the interplay between traditional rock instrumentation and the manipulated textures of field recordings, resulting in a work that is both structurally rigid and sonically unpredictable.
