On their punishing sophomore record, the New Orleans outfit refined their ferocious blueprint that heavily influenced the emerging groove metal subgenre. 'The Law' marries the blistering speed of traditional thrash with slower, heavily syncopated rhythms and hostile vocal deliveries. Disbanding shortly after its release, the band left behind a crucial piece of extreme metal architecture.
