Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Tunisian-born French singer skyrocketed to international superstardom with the album's impossibly catchy, synthesizer-driven title track. The record is defined by its incredibly slick, melancholic Europop production, characterized by chiming Yamaha synthesizers and his distinctively high, fragile vocal register. It remains an enduring, multi-million selling touchstone of early 1980s European pop music.
