Album Notes & Community Reviews
Integrating live recordings with rollicking studio cuts, the second LP by the British rock-and-roll stalwarts perfectly captures their delightfully sloppy, booze-fueled live energy. Driven by Rod Stewart's raspy vocals and Ron Wood's loose, infectious guitar work, the album firmly established their reputation as the ultimate good-time bar band. It was their first release to achieve significant commercial success, paving the way for their mid-70s peak.
