Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released nineteen years after their previous studio effort, 'The Heart Is a Monster' marked Failure's triumphant return after reuniting in 2014. The album serves as a direct sonic successor to 'Fantastic Planet', expanding on their signature blend of heavy, atmospheric space rock with intricate melodicism. Structured with numerous instrumental segues, it functions as a cohesive, long-form listening experience.
