Album Notes & Community Reviews
Conceived and recorded during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, 'Wild Type Droid' is Failure's sixth studio album. The record presents a more concise and direct approach to songwriting compared to its sprawling predecessors, focusing on tightly crafted, hook-driven tracks. It successfully distills the band's core elements of atmospheric textures, heavy guitars, and melodic introspection into a potent and streamlined collection.
