Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Bay Area quintet delivers a polarizing, groundbreaking fusion of hyper-technical death metal and the lush, shimmering atmospheres of modern post-rock. While the musicianship is relentlessly brutal, the heavily reverberating, ethereal guitar leads provide an unexpectedly emotional counterpoint. The incredibly dense, loudly mastered mix sparked intense debate among audiophiles within the extreme metal community.
