Marking their first album with vocalist Antonio Palermo, 'Undying Light' sees San Francisco's Fallujah leaning heavily into the atmospheric side of progressive metal. The band intentionally strips back some of their earlier death metal technicality to emphasize expansive, post-metal guitar textures and emotive, aggressive structures. It sparked divisive but passionate reactions within the tech-metal community.
