It's Only a Movie

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the eclectic British group's swan song, their final studio album moves away from intense progressive experimentation toward a looser, horn-driven approach heavily influenced by American roots and funk music. Roger Chapman's distinctive, vibrato-heavy vocals lead the band through a diverse set of wry, theatrical rock compositions. While often overshadowed by their earlier masterworks, it provides a highly capable, brass-heavy conclusion to their unique avant-garde career.
