Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking the recording debut of highly influential bassist John Wetton, the British art-rockers delivered one of their most eclectic and successful albums. Roger Chapman's ferocious, vibrato-soaked vocals anchor a set of songs that veer wildly from delicate, folk-tinged acoustic balladry to aggressive, jazz-inflected hard rock. It provided the group with their highest charting position in the United States.
